Refurbishment works to Kynaston House, Rydding Lane, Hateley Heath have recently been completed.
The 9 storey block, originally containing 31 flats, has benefitted from the construction of 3 new flats at ground floor level and the whole block has received external wall cladding and insulation, new windows and doors, a pitched roof to cover the existing defective flat roof and a new porch with improved security access.
Externally, new car parking bays have been created and the area around the block has been provided with better access paths and landscaped areas.
The £2.5 million scheme has made a vast improvement to the comfort and security of the tenants.
Kynaston House is the 34th high rise block to be refurbished through Urban Design and Building Services.
