The restoration is now in its final stages, with heating now on in the house for the first time in many years and the final touches of decoration and carpeting in progress all leading up to an anticipated completion date of 3rd March 2017. The car park tarmacing will follow a little later and final snagging will continue up until the end of March.
This will then only leave the house to be furnished over the coming months.
The Shakespeare garden paths and planting bed preparation are also progressing nicely and with help from the community volunteers – who will be involved in the future planting up of the borders and beds during spring and summer 2017 – will see the garden finally restored to its former glory.
